Nice to meet you. My name is Tomohiro Sakai, the representative of Fascial Therapy Re Light.
The reason I aimed to become an occupational therapist is that I suffered from asthma and other conditions since childhood, and I was repeatedly admitted to and discharged from the hospital where my mother, who works as a nurse, is employed, so medical care was always close to me from a young age.
When I was in high school, I became interested in the world of rehabilitation after a motorcycle accident involving a friend, and I aimed to become an occupational therapist.
I have worked for 9 years at general hospitals, acute care hospitals, and a major therapy clinic, mainly handling cerebrovascular disorders and orthopedic conditions.
The reason I moved into the field of therapy is that while working at hospitals I strongly felt that after surgery or serious illness it is difficult to completely return to the original condition, and that the concept of preventive medicine will become important.
If small problems or discomforts are left as they are, they may eventually lead to major illnesses.
In Japan, aging and home care have become social issues, and it is said that Vietnam will reach a similar situation as Japan in about 20 years.
I believe that spreading the concept of preventive medicine at an early stage in order to extend healthy life expectancy is also important for reducing the burden of caregiving.
I aim to stay close to customers and become a community-based clinic so that we can work together to solve concerns that cannot be consulted at hospitals.
